First Wesleyan Church of Painesville / The Connection Church is one church with multiple campuses. Our Eastern campus is located at 71 N. Park Place Painesville, Ohio 44077, inside the Painesville United Methodist Church Worship service begins at 12:00p.m. on Sundays, and our South campus is located at 2560 Post Road Twinsburg, Ohio 44087 inside Faith United Methodist Church, Worship Service is Sundays at 2:00p.m. and Midweek Revival is Wednesdays at 7:00p.m. Our Mailing address is: P.O. 46065 Bedford Ohio 44146.
Our mission is to glorify God through the fulfillment of The Great Commission. What that means is we are a multicultural, multigenerational, multiethnic, multiplying ministry with Matthew 25 as our driving force.
Pastor Mocc Rodgers is a “servant of The Most High,” husband, dad, grandad, Bishop/Planter/Coach and Urban Church Specialist for The Greater Ohio District of The Wesleyan Church. He is a graduate of Wesley Seminary with a Master of Arts Degree in Church Planting and Multiplication. He is also a graduate of Regent University from the Bachelor of Arts in Theology program, and Cuyahoga Community College where he received an Associates of Arts with a concentration in Religious studies. He is also a graduate of the Missional Coaches training program under Dr. Bob Whitesel and is currently seeking a certification in the Cultivate Coaching Program.
His wife Stephanie is also “servant of the Most High,” wife, mother, and grandmother. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University and holds an M.B.A. She is also a graduate of South University with a Masters In Transformational Leadership.
This plant also operates one of the largest free full-service Family Resource Centers in Ohio and plans to be a part of 20 new church plants by 2030.
